I keep getting the "you need to confirm your email address" prompt, but it won't confirm

When I log into my account summary for support.vanillaforums.com, I see a message at the bottom of the screen that says:

"You need to confirm your email address. Click here to resend the confirmation email."

I click the link, get the confirmation email, click the link in the email, and when it takes me to the confirmation page... it still has the same message. I can't seem to confirm it. 

can anyone help?

    I've confirmed your account for the support forums, but if you have issues with your account page on the billing side, please reach out to billing@vanillaforums.com. For support, make sure you reach out directly to your CSM if you need help!
