How to embed a specific locale?

I have an embedded forum that I'd like to offer english and french support for.  I have locales enabled, which shows a link to switch to French in the footer, but the site that I'm embedding the forum in already knows the user's language preference.

Is it possible in the embedding script to specify a language?

E.g. something like:

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://crea.vanillacommunity.com/js/embed.js?locale=fr-CA"></script>

Then I could use a different embed script depending on user language

    Hey Jason,

that is the correct parameter for serving a page with a certain locale (http://crea.vanillacommunity.com/?locale=fr-CA) but it only works on one page load. Multilingual attaches languages on the account level, but for guests they will see the default language if they navigate away from the page after the initial link.

I'm not sure what exact workflow you are anticipating. I can investigate this further if you email support@vanillaforums.com

    Thanks!
